Association of Mouth & Foot Painting Artists

In 1956 a worldwide artist's organization was founded in the Principality of Liechtenstein to which currently about 500 mouth and footpainting artists belong all over the world: the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Worldwide (AMFPA). 

NO PITY PLEASE.

Only those who are themselves physically handicapped can appreciate how much it means to be largely independent of public welfare and state assistance; for most of us it means everything: our very life and personal freedom.

The artwork created by these people is by no means a front for handouts. The Association accepts only those as "members" with high artistic standards. The personal abilities of each individual artist remains in the foreground, not his or her handicap.
